It’s been awhile since I featured a Made in Michigan item, so I was glad when Simply Eight contacted me to find out if I’d review their cookies and granola bars.

There have been so many breweries opening up in West Michigan that I’m embarrassed to admit that I am slacking on trying them all out! This past weekend my husband and I decided to remedy that by going to Our Brewing Company in Holland, MI.

For some reason, sugaring season always catches me off guard. I look at the March events and see maple sugar events and I always say, “already?” Yep! It’s here!

Next weekend is a great opportunity to try fishing for FREE! All fishing license fees will be waived for two days, February 16 and 17, 2013.
