SBC will be conducting 4 tasting events at the brewery to be held on the last Thursdays of January, February, March and April at 7pm.
In what has become a wildly-popular winter/spring tradition, West Michigan’s Salt of the Earth announces its third-annual monthly Michigan Wine & Beer Dinner Series at its downtown Fennville rustic American eatery, starting on January 11 and running through June 20.
The Michigan Beer Guild recently sent me a list of the new harvest beers from our fine state; I edited the list to highlight West “ish” Michigan offerings-check ‘em out!
Members from the Michigan Brewers Guild (MBG) and Master Brewers Association of the Americas (MBAA) - District Michigan will once again gather at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo, January 12-14, for their annual Winter Conference. The conference is the culmination of the inaugural week-long “Kalamazoo Restaurant Week,” being organized by Imperial Beverage.

I spent my high school years in Kalamazoo, so I was excited to see that they have a beer week coming up! And, given the lack of events going on around Grand Rapids in the near future, I think it might just be time to make the trek down south.
A few weeks ago DH (Dear Husband) and I went to check out Odd Side Ales. He had been there before, but it was my first time. I wasn’t sure what to expect, other than unique beers.
