As you might have figured out by now, as much as my husband and I like wine, we are also into beer. (As one might suspect from a couple who is working to open a microbrewery!). And so we couldn’t leave Traverse City without stopping at Jolly Pumpkin.

One of the most fun things about the media event was meeting the winemakers and other people who live, work, and breathe Michigan wine. One of those was Tony Lentych, General Manager at Leelanau Cellars.

  My husband, Troy   My husband and I went up to Traverse City for the weekend April 17-18 to attend the media event sponsored by Leelanau Peninsula Vintner’s Association. It was drizzly and cold, but we still had a great time. The first thing we did was visit Tandem Ciders.

Just in case you thought I made this whole “April is Michigan Wine Month” thing up, I thought I’d share a press release that I received recently. The facts speak for themselves-Michigan wine is a bright spot in our economic landscape.
