Today we’re headed to the Lake Michigan Shore! It stretches from Union Pier to Saugatuck and, like the Traverse City area, is a great place for a wine-tasting vacation!

I was invited to a media event through the Leelanau Peninsula Vintner’s Association last weekend, which was a great chance to get to meet some of the winemakers. While I was there, I met the author of two books that celebrate Michigan wine!

If a restaurant offers Michigan wine AT ALL, chances are good that there will be an L Mawby selection. Which is why if you have not had the opportunity to try some, you must head over to Art of the Table this Thursday!

While most of our virtual Michigan wine tour has taken place “up north,” you don’t have to go far to visit wineries.

Welcome Spring in Michigan at the Brys Estate Wine Dinner at The Boathouse in Traverse City

I recently received a press release for a Brys Estate Wine Dinner at The Boathouse in Traverse City. A quick glance at their website reveals that The Boathouse is committed to farm to table. Wine and Culinary Events at Grey Hare Inn Vineyard Bed & Breakfast

One of the things I love most about our virtual wine tour is that we have the whole month of April and can explore activities off the beaten path. I was delighted to discover the treasure trove of foodie events at Grey Hare Inn.

Celebrate Michigan Wine Month at Chateau Chantal

One of my favorite ways to explore Old Mission Peninsula is to drive all the way to the northernmost winery-Chateau Chantal-and work my way down. If you happen to take the same approach during the month of April, you’ll want to be sure to take advantage of some of the festivities at Chateau Chantal.
