While we all know the climax of GR Beer Week is the Winter Beer Fest, there is lots more for beer lovers to experience this week.
West Michigan Beer Cup Challenge
This is one challenge that you can participate in just by buying a beer! Local beer establishments have been divided into two teams: STOUT and IPA. Whichever team sells the highest average of pints per establishment will win the First Annual West Michigan Beer Cup. The challenge goes through Friday, February 24 at midnight. The winner will be announced Saturday, February 25th at 3pm on stage at the Michigan Brewers Guild Winter Beer Fest at Fifth-Third Ballpark.

Winter Beer Fest Ticket Auction
Tickets for the big celebration on Saturday are sold out, but you can try to win them at one of two auctions on Thursday, February 23, 2012. Vitale’s from 7-9 PM or at Rocky’s from 10 pm- midnight.

If crowds or the bar scene aren’t your thing, head to one of our local microbreweries and grab a pint or fill a growler and celebrate in the comfort of your own home.
