Remember how a few weeks ago I said it wasn’t too early to start planning your Michigan garden? I just discovered that Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is offering a gardening workshop series!
For just $20 bucks ($12 if you’re a member), you can attend three workshops:
February 17, 6:30pm - 8 pm: Getting Started with Sustainable Gardening
This introductory workshop will cover soil properties, soil communities, site selection, organic soil preparation, cover crops, and crop rotation to support soil fertility
Backyard Vegetable Gardening - Thursday, March 17
Backyard Fruit Gardening - Thursday, April 14
