Slow Food Book Club

Happy Autumn everyone!

The book to read for October’s meeting is called ‘Best Food Writing 2011′ by Holly Hughes. It is available at the usual places in both paper and e-form. Held at Joyce Hoolsema’s house.

There’s something for everyone in this book: from molecular gastronomy to the omnivore’s dilemma, from meat-free to wheat-free to everything goes. It’s not only about food, but - more importantly - our relationship with food, how it serves us, how we serve it.

You can open it anywhere and enjoy the stories, from the back to the front and everything in between - so no excuse not to read it!

Enjoy the beautiful colors!
