Last Sunday, the husband and I wanted to go somewhere different for breakfast. “Have we been to Wolfgang’s?” I asked. I’d heard about it but couldn’t quite remember where it was. “Yes,” he said. “We haven’t been there in awhile. Let’s go! They have a lot of meat. It’s like the opposite of Gaia’s.”

Because of the growing conditions, many local blueberry farms no longer have bleuberries available this season. If you are lucky enough to find them, perhaps at a farmer’s market, be sure to freeze them for winter use.

When the auto industry shake-up occurred in Michigan a few years ago, I felt that I needed to do something to draw positive attention to the state. I was tired of hearing so much negativity in the news, especially since I knew that there was much more to Michigan than just autos. “What about FRUIT?” I kept asking the radio, but it did not hear me.
