I feel as though I’m the last person to find out about Groupon, which is a daily deal with 50-90% off (you can find out more by clicking on the affiliate link at the end of this article). Groupon, where have you been all my life?
Recently they had a Groupon for Ramona’s Table, and although I had not heard of the restaurant before, I decided this would be a perfect time to try it out! I’ve heard good things, and with the Groupon, there was nothing to lose.
So the husband and I headed out on a drizzly Saturday morning for breakfast.
The doggie water bowl and box of treats just outside put a smile on our face as we approached the entrance.
The decor inside was modern and inviting. We were greeted by Cindy, who was super friendly. We placed our order at the counter and were pleasantly surprised that the prices are very reasonable (even without the Groupon!).
As we waited for our breakfast, Cindy promptly brought us some coffee (which was of good quality and continuously refilled!). We chatted a bit and learned that 645 people had purchased the Groupon for Ramona’s Table. Wow!
My husband, Troy, looking at the menu.
Before long our breakfast came. It looked great!
Ramona Park Breakfast Burrito: Your choice of sausage, Cherry-wood bacon or ham. Tossed with scrambled eggs, onions, green peppers and Cheddar cheese rolled in a flour tortilla. $5.45
I chose the cherry-wood bacon and it was delicious! Very fresh and the bacon was to die for.
Porky Pig: Cherry wood smoked bacon, sausage, ham and onions and roasted redskin potatoes topped with Cheddar cheese. $6.95
He reports that it was great! Just enough food.
With the Groupon, our bill was just under $3 bucks for both of us. However, we will definitely back. The food and service were outstanding, the bathrooms clean, and I can’t wait to try out some of their summer salads.
